DEGRADEAD: High praises for "Til Death Do Us Apart"
Jesper Strömblad (In Flames) says: "I had the opportunity to work with the band I would say is the future of metal.. "Til Death Do Us Apart" is out now!
On their release party last weekend they sold out Tantogarden in their hometown Stockholm. Degradead had the song "Til Death Do Us Apart" as intro as they entered the stage, and then played the complete album in chronological order to a frantic audience. DEGRADEAD are already confirmed for a tour with Dimension Zero, so be prepared!
Additionally, Degradead put up a video of "Take Control" which shows them on a previous live gig and in IF Studios with H.O.R.D.E. (featuring members of In Flames).
VIRGIN STEELE - The re-release of two classics
As one of the absolute pioneers of Heavy Metal New York based Virgin Steele were spreading the gospel of US-Metal since their foundation in 1981. Besides the brilliant guitar works the music is dominated by the impressive and variable voice of singer and main songwriter David DeFeis. His use of epical and classical influences is one of the distinctive trademarks of the sound and style of Virgin Steele. During their outstanding career the band released some highlights and classics, every Metalhead simply has to know to call himself "metal". With Nobel Savage and Age Of Consent two of them are now remastered and reworked - with newly designed booklets, previously unreleased bonus tracks and personal liner notes by David DeFeis himself!
Noble Savage was officially released in 1986. Rock Hard Germany was marvelled by the unique mixture of melodies, classical arrangements like in a Wagner opera and the unique vocals of DeFeis. It scored 9,5 of 10 points and was praised as "Heavy Metal in it's highest perfection."
Age Of Consent hit the market like a bomb and was the logical successor to "Noble Savage" where David DeFeis and his sidekicks were following the path they themselves laid. The biggest hits on this album were 'On The Wings Of The Night' and 'The Burning Of Rome' which can be labelled as "typical" Virgin Steele songs, and the ballad 'Cry Forever'. Originally released in 1988 the album was praised worldwide and scored Virgin Steele tours together with Manowar and Black Sabbath.
Both are scheduled for release on Febuary 4th, 2008.

STORMWARRIOR - get the first glimpse of "Heading Northe"!
STORMWARRIOR are done recording, mixing and mastering their third full record "Heading Northe". You can already listen to the first conquering tunes on their Myspace page, STORMWARRIOR compiled a medley of the album and put it on. Go there and be one of the first to know about the heir to the German Power Metal Throne - captured with Nordic Power!
A release party for "Heading Northe" is scheduled for February 22nd at Ballroom, Hamburg.
In 2008 Stormwarrior will play Manowar's Magic Cicle Festival, a possible tour supporting Manowar is in the talking. The release of "Heading Northe" is scheduled for for March 3rd , 2008.
HATE SQUAD - a lesson in Hannover H8Core!
Due to their 15th band anniversary in 2008 Hate Squad will present their new studio album "Degüello Wartunes" which was recorded in the Rape Of Harmonies Studios (Heaven Shall Burn, Maroon, Narziss among many others) end of 2007. Besides the fact that it´s one of the strongest Hate Squad album ever, where the band manages to combine the spirit of the good old "Not My God" and "I.Q. Zero" times with a modern up to date sound the album features guest vocals by Marcus Bischoff from Heaven Shall Burn and Maintain´s Timo Böhling and Julian Tamke on several tracks.

The release of "Degüello Wartunes" is scheduled for March 21st.
ASSAILANT on album title and video
Our Swedish youngsters ASSAILANT just finished recording the follow up to their debut "Nemesis Within". The new album is entitled "Wicked Dream". It is not only more mature than it's predecessor but it shows a band that has clearly found it's own path in Metal, very melodical yet really hard, sprinkled with influences of Rock, Death Metal and Thrash. Crown of the album is the ballad "Eternal". If you can stay deaf to ASSAILANT's wicked dream, there is no drip of blood left in you!
The release of "Wicked Dream" is scheduled for March 21st.
VOYAGER had a "Nightwish"!
Just on short notice Australian progressive rockers VOYAGER were confirmed as the support for Finnish epic metal band NIGHTWISH "Down Under" at The Metro in Perth, Australia. And we are pretty sure that they defended their home town audience!
VOYAGER's recent album "UniVers" was released on October 29th.

Lake of Tears released their 7th studio album "Moons and Mushrooms" on April 26th, 2007. The album features an increasingly heavy approach to guitar-work. The new release has a heavier, darker sound - but still is "best being listened to lying in the gras dreaming" according to Frank Albrecht, Rock Hard Megazine.

PERSUADER play with the fire extinguisher
After their highly acclaimed album "When Eden Burns" in 2006, Sweden's PERSUADER are now almost done songwriting for the follow up. In May 2008 Emil Norberg, Jens Carlsson (both also in SAVAGE CIRCUS), Efraim Juntunen and Fredrik Per Hedström will head into the studio.
